Episode 3 – Documenting my Rebranding Process

by T.M Kayode

Welcome back,

In today’s blog post, we shall continue the rebranding series. Brace yourselves because today’s blog post is going to be super detailed and promises to help you on your rebranding journey. I will be trying out a new style of presenting the content today. #FingersCrossed. Please let me know in the comments if this was easy to follow.

Before we dive into the nitty-gritty of the rebrand process, let me give you gist;

As part of this journey, I decided it was time to tidy up my social media presence. After a lengthy hiatus from some platforms, I logged back in to see how things were faring. Instagram looked good, Twitter was decent, but Facebook proved elusive – I’m still working on regaining access. As for TikTok, I’m not quite ready to dip my toes into that realm just yet. Then came LinkedIn, where I stumbled upon an unexpected twist :Ladies and Gentlemen, my account had been hacked. Yes, you heard that right – someone actually hacked my LinkedIn. The experience was… well, let’s just say it was a bit of an adventure. Thankfully, the hacker’s attempts were more of a nuisance than a catastrophe. I thought of writing a blog post all about it but the person didn’t really do a good job hacking me, so I am also going to NOT do a good job documenting it.

They tampered with my profile details, and started sending out messages to about 60 random people (men) on LinkedIn. None except one obliged the request and the hack was over. Why did they have to scrub off my entire profile? Why not just create a new one. Thankfully none of my connections was messaged. After I recovered my account and reported the case to Linkedin, I then proceeded to restoring my entire profile.

Anyway – End of gist.

And with that, let’s move on to the main event.”

If you’re short on time, start by reading the summary to get a quick overview of the rebranding process. Even if you’re not currently undergoing a rebrand, the summary can still provide valuable insights. Feel free to share this post with anyone who might find it helpful. You can always come back to it later if you decide to embark on your own rebranding journey.

Layer  4: What Are My Brands

TMKAYODE

For TMKAYODE, the vision is to create a comprehensive and engaging digital presence that encapsulates all aspects of my personal brand. The first step in this journey is establishing a dedicated website. This involves purchasing the domain name, a significant milestone that will provide a central hub for all my offerings. The website will not just be a simple blog but a fully-fledged platform with dedicated pages for services, products, and resources. This means expanding the design and functionality of the site to ensure it meets the needs of a diverse audience and showcases the breadth of what I offer.

To promote the content and drive traffic to the website, I plan to leverage major social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter. These platforms will serve as key channels for sharing updates, engaging with my audience, and building a strong online community around the TMKAYODE brand. Each platform will have tailored content strategies to maximize reach and engagement, with LinkedIn focusing on professional insights, Instagram on visual storytelling and community engagement, and Twitter on real-time updates and conversations. In the future, I also intend to expand my social media presence to YouTube, creating video content that can further engage my audience and provide deeper insights into my work and ideas.

Our Bible Notes

For Our Bible Notes, the immediate plan is to integrate this project within the TMKAYODE website by creating a dedicated page. This page will serve as a repository for all the resources and content related to our Bible study, making it easily accessible to anyone interested in deepening their understanding of the Bible. This integration will allow for a cohesive online presence, where visitors can explore all aspects of my brand in one place.

In addition to the website, Instagram will be a primary platform for promoting the content of Our Bible Notes. Through regular posts, stories, and interactive content, we aim to engage with our audience and foster a sense of community. This will not only help in spreading the word about Our Bible Notes but also in creating meaningful connections with individuals who share a similar interest in Bible study. Looking ahead, the plan is to develop a comprehensive Bible study curriculum. This curriculum will be designed to guide individuals through a structured and in-depth study of the Bible, making it accessible and understandable for everyone. By providing these resources, we hope to support and inspire others in their spiritual journeys.

By outlining these plans for TMKAYODE and Our Bible Notes, I aim to create a clear roadmap for each brand’s growth and development. These strategies will help in building a strong and cohesive digital presence, engaging with my audience effectively, and delivering valuable content and resources.
