The day after

by T.M Kayode

Hi there,

I wanted to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone who checked out my newly released book after my last blog post. The response has been incredible! I’ve received so many downloads and some really thoughtful feedback from many of you. It means the world to me to see my work being read and appreciated.

If you haven’t already, I would love it if you could take a moment to write a review. Reviews are crucial for reaching more readers and helping the book gain traction. Your honest thoughts can make a big difference! You can leave your review here (link). I truly appreciate your support.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I want to give you a sneak peek into what’s coming up on the blog over the next couple of months. There’s a lot in store, and I’m excited to share it all with you!

My Writing Process Series: From Blank Page to Final Draft

Starting this Saturday (August 31, 2024), I’ll be rolling out a new blog series that delves into my writing process for this book. You may not know this, but I began writing on July 6th, 2024, and completed the third draft by August 17th, 2024. It was an intense journey, but I learned so much along the way that I can’t wait to share with you.

The series will cover various aspects of my writing process, including:

  • Writing Non-Fiction with a Fictional Lens: How I crafted engaging, narrative-driven non-fiction that reads almost like a story. Finding my voice and all the things.
  • Mining Information on YouTube: Believe it or not, most of the research for this book came from YouTube videos! I’ll show you how I sifted through the noise to find valuable insights.
  • Organizing Research Efficiently: Once you’ve gathered all that information, what’s next? I’ll share the methods I used to make sense of my research and keep everything organized.
  • Creating Custom GPTs for Research: Yes, I created custom GPTs to help me organize and refine my findings. It was a game-changer, and I’ll show you how I did it. This was the first time I was creating one but I sure learned a lot.
  • Learning the Ins and Outs of Editing, Copyrights, and Publishing: These were new territories for me, and I had to learn quickly. I’ll walk you through the basics and share what I wish I’d known from the start.

This series will be part of my Saturday posts, so make sure you’re subscribed to get all the updates!

NEWSFLASH: My New Journey in Project Management

In other news, I’ve decided to embark on a new adventure – I’m finally going to take a Project Management Certification Course! This is something I’ve been putting off for a few years, but I’ve decided it’s time to dive in and get it done.

I’ll be sharing my study journey with you in a new series that will go live on Wednesdays. My plan is to sit for the exam sometime in October 2024, so that gives me approximately one month to prepare. If you’ve been following me for a while, you might have noticed that I seem to have a bit of a fixation with one-month schedules – there’s something about a tight deadline that really drives me!

I’m excited about this new challenge, but I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. I’ll be documenting everything from study techniques to key learnings, so if you’re interested in project management or just want to follow along on this new journey, stay tuned!

That’s it for today’s update. There’s a lot coming up, and I can’t wait to share more with you. Thank you again for all your support with the book, and I’m looking forward to diving into these new projects with you by my side.

Until next time, byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Please consider subcribing, thanks! Okay, bye!
