Long time, no post! The past few weeks have been a whirlwind, and unfortunately, blogging took a bit of a backseat. While I’m not completely out of that busy space, I still plan to pop in here from time to time. So, let’s catch up!

Big Announcement!

My parents are in the USA! 🎉 They arrived about a week ago, and it has been absolutely wonderful having them around. Dabbie and Tiara have completely imprinted on them, and the house is filled with extra giggles and endless grandparent-grandchild bonding sessions. It’s been such a joy to watch!

Texas Road Trip & Deeper USA

H and I just got back from a trip to Texas! We traveled all the way from South Bend, Indiana—a solid 14-hour drive (one way!)—to attend Celebration Church International’s Deeper USA program. It was so worth it.

We traveled with three of our friends, and let me tell you, the journey itself was a highlight. The guys took turns driving while the rest of us filled the car with conversations, jokes, and good vibes. The program was an incredible time of fellowship, worship, and spiritual growth.

I also finally got to meet Blessing—the wife of another one of our friends. She is an absolute delight! We had only spoken over the phone before, so it was great to finally connect in person.

I also reconnected with my undergrad classmate, Bisola! It was such a pleasant surprise to see her after so many years and catch up on life. I ran into several of my former students from when I lectured at Covenant University. Seeing their growth and progress was a proud moment for me. It’s always amazing to witness how people evolve over time. I have a few reflections on this that I’ll share in a later post.

On the Home Front

Tiara is stringing more words together (my little chatterbox in the making!), and Dabbie is reading! As someone who loves books, I’ve been eagerly waiting for the day my girls could read independently, and Dabbie has made big moves in that direction. I am beyond excited!

I’m planning to do a LinkedIn exclusive post marathon soon—fingers crossed! Any guesses on what I’ll be writing about? 👀

Anyway, I took a pause on everything to check in here, but now it’s time to get back to work.
