Mentorship Season for Me

by T.M Kayode

If you know me, you know that when it comes to learning online, I am that person who will exhaust every free option available before pulling out my wallet. I’ve always believed that if you dig deep enough and do your research, you’ll find valuable resources without spending a dime. That approach has served me well—I love exploring, experimenting, and learning at my own pace.

However, I’ve come to a new realization: there’s a time to explore freely, and there’s a time to invest in guided wisdom.

I recognize that I’ve reached a point in my life where mentorship is now a necessity, not just a luxury. I now have more clarity about what I want my life to be about, which makes it easier to discern the kinds of mentors I need. Does that make sense?

So, in that spirit, let me share a few mentorship programs and conversations I am willingly paying for this season.

1. The INDABA 2025 – Hosted by Dr. Olakunle Soriyan (PK)

The INDABA happened February 22-24, 2025, in Abuja, Nigeria. While I won’t be attending in person, I have paid for the online experience because I need to be in the room—even virtually.

PK is known for his revolutionary thoughts and sharp insights into the future. Having had the opportunity to speak with him one-on-one in the past, I know how transformative his perspectives on positioning and strategy can be. This event is designed to shape the next six years, and I want to be equipped with that knowledge.

2. The Bold Brand Mentorship Program – Led by Ife Adeagbo

I have been a part of Ife Adeagbo’s community for a while now, and every time I engage, I walk away feeling energized and ready to take action. This year, I’m taking a proactive approach to refining my personal brand and ensuring it aligns with my long-term career goals.

What I love about Ife’s mentorship is that she is deeply spiritual, and she approaches branding from a scriptural and strategic perspective. This isn’t just about visibility—it’s about clarity, purpose, and longevity.

3. Mrs. A is Coming to Houston!

Remember how, on my birthday last August, I wrote a book titled Mrs. A? (If you don’t, you can check out the backstory here.)

Well, the same Mrs. A (Apostle Olajumoke Adenowo) is coming to Houston for her annual AL Summit on March 15, 2025, and of course, I will be there!

I’m also hoping to print physical copies of my book and personally hand one to her. #FingersCrossed

But beyond that, I just can’t wait to experience the electrifying atmosphere of an AL Summit in person. It’s always a powerful time of impartation, worship, and insight, and I know it will be one for the books.

Final Thoughts

So, that’s my mentorship lineup for this season. Learning will always be a priority for me, but this time around, I’m choosing to learn with more intentionality—by sitting at the feet of those who have gone ahead of me.

I’ll keep you posted on how everything unfolds!

Until next time,
Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! 😊
