A Few Updates

by T.M Kayode

Hello everyone!

I wanted to take a moment to share a few exciting updates with you about some of the projects I’ve been working on. It’s been a whirlwind of activity around here, and I’m thrilled to let you in on what’s been happening!

1. Book Launch on August 29th

First and foremost, I’m excited to announce that I have officially completed writing my book! This project has been a labor of love, and after countless hours of writing, editing, and refining, the finish line is finally in sight. My goal is to launch the book on my birthday, August 29th – just a few days away!

I used Reedsy for the typesetting, and I must say, it has been an excellent resource. If you’re ever looking for a platform to format your book, I highly recommend checking it out at Reedsy.com. The user-friendly interface made the whole process much smoother, and I’m pleased with the result.

Right now, I’m putting the finishing touches on the manuscript and working on the book cover design. Designing the cover has been a creative challenge, but it’s also one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. However, there are a few functionalities I originally envisioned for the book that I’ll have to sacrifice for this edition in order to meet the tight deadline. While it’s a bit disappointing, I’ve come to terms with the fact that it’s better to release the book on time and work on these features for a future edition.

Stay tuned, because I’ll be sharing more details about the book launch soon – including where you can get your hands on a copy!

2. Hosting Foreign Students – Fellowship, Study, and Nigerian Food!

On another note, we have some exciting guests coming over to our home TODAY! We’ll be hosting a few foreign students for a time of fellowship, studying the Word, and, of course, enjoying some delicious Nigerian food.

There’s something truly special about bringing people together from different cultures and backgrounds, especially over a home-cooked meal. I’m looking forward to sharing a bit of our culture with them, diving into some deep discussions, and building new friendships. The kitchen is already buzzing with the preparation of some classic Nigerian dishes, and I can’t wait to see how our guests enjoy them.

It’s moments like these that remind me of the beauty of hospitality and the joy of community. I’ll be sure to share how it all goes in a future post!

3. A Secret Project – Stay Tuned!

Lastly, there’s another project I’m currently working on that I’m incredibly excited about. Unfortunately, I can’t share too many details just yet, but trust me – it’s something big! All I can say for now is that things are moving along smoothly, and I can’t wait to reveal what’s been brewing behind the scenes. It’s always exciting to work on something that gets your creative juices flowing, and this is one of those projects for me.

So, stay tuned for more updates on this – I promise it’ll be worth the wait!
