The day Of

by T.M Kayode

Finally, it’s here.

My birthday is here.

I’ve been looking forward to this birthday, not just because of the usual celebrations, but because of something much bigger—the book launch! Oh, the joy that comes with the satisfaction of completing a project.

I first thought about writing a book last year when I turned 30. It was going to be called “30 Things I’ve Learned in 30 Years.” (Feel free to yawn here.) I mean, seriously—how boring, right? Even I got bored with the idea before I could finish it!

I had planned to share things I’d learned that were truly interesting—not the pedestrian thoughts you often find in similar blog posts or YouTube videos. But as I worked on it, I realized something: I didn’t want to take the posture of someone who had “arrived” and was now dispensing wisdom. That’s just not me. Instead, I wanted to embrace my true nature—a lifelong learner.

So, I put that old project on ice.

Then, sometime in July of this year, after spending days soaking up the knowledge from a remarkable woman—Mrs. A, who is the subject of this book—the idea of writing a book popped back into my head. Initially, I planned to study five women, tops. But as I continued to delve into the world of Mrs. A, I quickly realized I couldn’t rush this process. I had to take my time. So, I decided to focus solely on her.

And here we are, just one short month later, with the first edition complete.

I wouldn’t call myself a master by any means—before the actual masters come for me—but I did learn a lot during this book-writing journey. And I’m aware that I still have much more to learn. In the coming days, I’ll be sharing some of the things I’ve picked up along the way—from grasping the basics of creative writing, to building a custom GPT assistant to serve as a repository for all the information I was compiling, to figuring out tools like Obsidian and Reedsy. There was even some Python coding and data analytics involved—all in the name of streamlining the writing process!

This edition is a labor of love, and I hope that anyone who reads it is inspired to use all their God-given gifts. I hope you find answers to questions you haven’t asked yet and relief from burdens you’ve never shared with anyone.

So without further ado,

World, meet Mrs. A.

Side Note:

I’d really appreciate it if you could share the link with others who might be interested. The link, please—not the actual PDF. It would be nice to track how many people download the book.

Also, would you mind sharing a review when you’re done reading? Just head back to the link and hit the “Write a Review” button. Your feedback is crucial, as I plan to get the book professionally designed for paperback on Amazon.

Okay, okay, okay—I’m done now.

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
